  • Works with local production companies to provide discounted (two for one) tickets at participating theatres and special events.
  • Posts theatre employment and opportunities on the web site and in the newsletter, e.g. "help wanted", "volunteers needed," internships available, and auditions.
  • Promotes youth theatre in Monterey County, posting classes, workshops, and productions at theatre schools and local public and private schools on the web site and in the newsletter.
  • Awards up to two scholarships a year for graduating Monterey County high school or community college students who have been accepted to college or will transfer to a college to study Theatre Arts.

MCTA membership levels include Individual, Affiliate and Producing members.
