Hookman
Jul 14-15
Aug 11 -12
Driven for attention, millennial and UConn Freshman, Lexi, finds that her desire for publicity may not be the best idea when serial killer, Hookman, sets his eyes on her. Lexi’s evasion of Hookman results in some rather surrealistic events, forcing her to contend with just why he is relentlessly following her.

In this relevant and surprisingly funny slasher, Lexi realizes that growing up doesn’t come so easily when your wrongs come to haunt you.

ABOUT 2X4 BASH: THEATRE ON THE EDGE 2X4 BASH: Theatre on the Edge, a theatre arts program for burgeoning artists between the ages of 18-29, was created in 2011 by The Western Stage’s Artistic Director, Jon Selover. The program provides an opportunity for the next generation of theatre artists to collaborate, innovate, and educate through provocative contemporary works. We challenge artists and audiences alike to approach theatre from new perspectives and invite all to connect their own life experience with the work.
